Pros and cons of Popular Science app for iPhone and iPad

Popular Science app good for

Anything but a simple magazine. The added value of reading it on iPad is huge!
Im French and in my country, there is no equal... I learn a lot of new things...
Great delivery of pertinent content in a world where it is increasingly difficult to keep pace with advances in technology.
As a first impression i like the design of the e-magazine, the animation keep the eye very interessed on whats in there. Thanks for the publishing! Im a Scientist! .:.
Excelent magazine! Now I can read in Brasil for a very low price!
I really like the magazine. Every issue is having many articles I am interested in.

Some bad moments

I like Popular Science a lot but I hate their application. Instead of a simple magazine presentation like Time did (quite well), they have come up with this supposedly sophisticated app which extremely user unfriendly: you constantly have to swipe vertically, horizontally, make mistakes, go back, text disappears and appears back, ARGH, hate it !
Ok, this is not free and I knew that. But they automatically "renew" your in App subscription without any obvious way to cancel. Since Im not reading it anymore this feels like a rip off!
Planned obsolescence for apple products ? There is no way Im buying a newer iPad to read Popular Science. Guess Ill go back to paper issues. !@&£¥€%
Cant read the issue I bought - message said its not compatable with ipad 0 stars but ipad made me rate it 1
Upgraded to latest version and my November issue just gets the whirly wheel every time I try to open. Please fix!
It takes for ever to the new issues. Print is out far sooner. Still waiting on my Nov issue. Please fix this!
